Beginners Workshop

This 2 hour introduction to yoga will explore the basic elements of a yoga class; movement, breath and relaxation, while emphasising alignment principles and developing the mind-body connection.

This will be a gently paced class to accommodate all and will include both discussion/information sharing and practice.

Mats and props included.

The idea is that the knowledge and confidence gained during this workshop will allow you to safely move to a mixed-ability class or continue your practice at home.

Yoga works on so many levels and is for everybody, including YOU.

Winter Solstice Workshop

Throughout history, the winter solstice has been a significant time of year in many cultures and has been marked by festivals and rituals. The Sun stands in great stillness before it's strength builds, and days grow longer.
Join me for a gentle and nourishing evening of yoga, breath work, meditation, reflection and honouring nature’s call for rest, stillness and hibernation during the often busy festive season.
The winter solstice workshop will be gentle and calming, suitable for all levels of practice and a lovely chance for you to take care of your energy and get some rest before the festive season begins.
We will enjoy some seasonal refreshments with time to socialise at the end.

Autumn Equinox Workshop

The autumnal equinox is the perfect time for reflection, for going within & surrendering to the changing season.
The equinoxes occur twice a year, when day & night are in near perfect balance. We can also look to balance masculine & feminine, active & passive, inner & outer and light & dark.
As the leaves begin to fall from the trees, we will follow Mother Nature’s footsteps by releasing and letting go of what no longer serves us. 
We will set new intentions, use pranayama breathing techniques to find balance and equilibrium, flow through grounding postures, release old patterns, thoughts and emotions and finish with meditation and Yoga Nidra.
Autumn-themed warm drinks and sweet treats will be available towards the end of the workshop.

Spring Equinox

The Spring Equinox sees the forces of darkness and light equally matched, but light is on the increase! 

New light, new life and new beginnings!

Following the quietness, darkness and dormancy of winter, it’s as if nature is waking up after a long rest, stretching and preparing for movement.

Spring is a time of tremendous growth and change - let us take care to protect the precious seedlings that have emerged from the depth of winter.

In this two hour workshop you will be guided through:

Calming and uplifting pranayama breathing exercises.


Hatha Flow sequences which are playful & invigorating, shifting winter stagnation out of the body. Carefully chosen postures will spring clean the body and mind, as well as opening our hearts to new possibilities as the seasons change.

​

Meditation, Yoga Nidra and a wonderful ‘Spring’ themed visualisation.


The workshop will end with drinks and nibbles and an opportunity to chat or reflect quietly.

Summer Solstice Yoga Sizzler

Come and join me to celebrate the longest day of the year!
This will be an opportunity to embrace the light and honour the sun with lots of energising sun salutations, generating warmth in the body. You will be guided through a flowing, fiery practice which will activate the solar plexus chakra increasing our inner strength and confidence. We will then balance this out with some cooling, calming postures and pranayama. We will close the practice with a wonderful, long Yoga Nidra and relaxation.
Refreshing drinks and nibbles will be available to round off our sizzling yoga session!
